Where Creativity Flourishes and Dreams Take Shape!

As the first minority-owned art gallery in North St. Louis County, ERG serves as an eclectic hub reflecting the diverse faces of art in the community. The gallery's mission is to showcase both traditional and non-traditional art mediums, with a focus on making art approachable and engaging. At Eclectic Retail Gallery, we believe that creativity is more than just an innate talent—it's a fundamental part of the human experience. Like a universal apron, creativity envelops individuals from all walks of life, offering protection and empowerment as they navigate the journey of creation. Just as an apron shields clothing from stains, creativity guards the soul against the perils of stagnation and routine. In our gallery, we cultivate an environment where ideas are free to flourish and dreams are encouraged to take shape. Whether you're an artist, writer, musician, scientist, or innovator, Eclectic Retail Gallery is your sanctuary—a space where your unique vision is celebrated and your creativity is given the platform it deserves.

Eric Wilson, the resident artist and visionary behind ERG Gallery, is set to redefine the artistic landscape and narrative of Dellwood, Missouri. Recognizing the artist within each individual, Wilson emphasizes, "We are all artists in our own right, and art takes on many forms in our daily lives. No matter your status or profession, eclectic art thrives in the projects you're passionate about."

Additionally, ERG seeks to collaborate with artists from various industries, providing opportunities to teach, earn, and exhibit. Exhibitions can include photography, architectural construction, and local clothing design.

Wilson attributes his passion for art to his father and mentors who nurtured his creativity from a young age. "I remember showing my father my drawings for the first time, and he said, 'There's going to come a time when you're asked, what did you do with your gift?' That question has stayed with me throughout my artistic journey, fueling my desire to create. I pose the same question to my family, peers, and community: What will you do with your gifts? At ERG, we aim to provide a safe space for artists to showcase their creativity and share their stories. We celebrate you and the art that thrives simply because you do."

ERG Gallery is a haven for eclectic art and we're open to our vibrant artistic community worldwide. ERG Gallery isn't merely a conventional art display; it's a groundbreaking initiative focused on fostering accessibility for future generations. We offer open workspace, intermediary services, and a community of support for both established and emerging artists, with the aim to breathe life into art across all mediums.  "Your art isn't about how many people like your work. "Your art is about if your heart likes your work. If your soul likes your work. It's about how honest you are with yourself. You must never trade honesty and relatability," quotes Eric Wilson.

Join us as we embrace the transformative power of creativity and embark on a journey of exploration and inspiration.
